Samar Warsi

Samar Warsi is an attorney and Journalist out of Toronto, Canada. Ms. Warsi’s focus consists largely of analyzing the implications of domestic and international law on American civil liberties. She also explores how issues of religion and cultural identity influence local laws and foreign policies. Ms. Warsi is also the founder of a non-profit initiative known as Project Ramadan in Dallas that feeds Muslims and Non Muslims throughout the month of Ramadan. The project is affiliated with the Texas Muslim Women’s Association. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from McMaster University and graduated with a J.D. from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. Ms. Warsi studied European Union Law and International Criminal Court at Oxford University through a summer law exchange program. Fellow of the Global Journalism program from the University of Toronto.
